On September 4th in New York City, Glen Weyl will step onto the debate stage to confront one of the most influential thinkers of our time. The topic: “Should the U.S. be ruled by a CEO dictator?” His opponent: Curtis Yarvin, the self-described monarchist and founder of the neo-reactionary movement (NRx).
Since RadicalxChange was born, we have called out Yarvin’s vision of the future as a serious threat to human freedom and democracy. Unfortunately, such warnings have proven prescient, as NRx has gone on to capture the imagination of some of the most powerful people in the world, including Elon Musk and JD Vance.
We see this debate as a unique opportunity to push back against Yarvin’s mistaken ideas and to champion a more hopeful, democratic future. We hope you will join us in supporting Glen next month.
